Welcome to V Note, a fragrance atelier and experiential perfumery studio based in Toronto. Our goal is to offer a thoughtful, creative, and intimate environment for exploring scent.
These Terms are here to set clear expectations, protect the studio and our guests, and ensure that everyone enjoys the experience fully. By booking a session, attending a workshop, purchasing a product, or using our website, you agree to the following.
V Note (also known as Fifth Note) operates as an in person fragrance studio and workshop space in Toronto, Canada.

A booking is confirmed once payment is completed and a confirmation email is sent.
Please ensure your contact information is accurate. V Note is not responsible for missed confirmations or reminders due to incorrect details provided at checkout.
Bookings are for the named guest only and may not be resold or transferred without approval.
By completing a booking, you acknowledge and agree to our no refund, no show, and rescheduling policies as outlined in these Terms.
Our workshops are prepared in advance with reserved materials, studio time, and staff.
How to Reschedule
To reschedule, email atelier@vnote.ca using the same email address used at checkout and include:
Rescheduling requests are only considered valid once you receive written confirmation from V Note.
Requests sent via social media messages, comments, or unofficial channels are not considered rescheduling requests.
Late Arrivals and No Shows
Because sessions are timed, guided, and shared with other guests, late arrivals disrupt the experience and cannot always be accommodated.
Failure to attend or late arrival constitutes full delivery of the reserved service time.
By completing a booking, you waive the right to dispute charges through your payment provider for missed sessions, late arrivals, or no shows.
Our sessions involve fragrance oils, alcohol, glassware, and concentrated aromatic materials.
By attending, you acknowledge that:
Guests must follow all staff instructions. Unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the session without refund.
To maintain a calm and welcoming environment:
Guests are expected to treat all tools, materials, and furnishings with care.
Damage caused by negligence or misuse may result in repair or replacement charges.
Your fragrance is yours to enjoy.
Any scent created at V Note is intended for personal, non commercial use. Guests are encouraged to continue exploring fragrance creatively beyond the studio.
Blends created during workshops may not be:
Workshop materials, instructions, and the in studio experience are part of the V Note atelier and may not be used for commercial purposes without written permission.
This includes using the experience or materials to host paid workshops, events, or classes of a similar nature.
Photos or videos may be taken in the studio for marketing or documentation purposes.
By attending a session, guests consent to incidental inclusion in studio photography unless they opt out in advance at check in.
V Note collects only the information necessary to manage bookings, communicate with guests, and improve services.
Payment information is processed securely through third party providers.
V Note does not sell personal data.
All website content, including text, imagery, and branding, belongs to V Note and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
V Note is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or closures due to events beyond our control, including weather conditions, power outages, staff illness, building issues, or emergencies.
In such cases, sessions may be rescheduled at V Note’s discretion.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
Any disputes will be handled exclusively through Ontario courts.
By booking, attending, or purchasing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
